10/13 price analysis: ADA, DOGE, TON, DOT, MATIC, XRP, ETH, BNB, and SOL

“Amidst Bitcoin’s predictable trading range, there emerges a tantalizing question: Will the sideways price action beckon altcoin traders to embark on fresh ventures? The allure of a trending move within an asset class often draws traders into the fold, while a stagnant price action compels investors to bide their time. Bitcoin, for the past several months, has found itself ensnared within a confining range. This may well explain the significant drop in spot trading volumes, a matter highlighted by Bloomberg’s report on October 11, citing a 52% plunge in Coinbase’s spot trading volume for Q3 2023 compared to the same quarter in 2022. Although the immediate future remains cloaked in uncertainty, traders must remain vigilant, as protracted consolidations typically precede a surge of intense price activity. Yet, the conundrum lies in predicting the direction of this inevitable breakout. Notably, the bulls have steadfastly defended Bitcoin’s position, preventin...

Are BlackRock Rumors Behind XRP's 3.5% Pump?

Image
XRP is currently the best-performing crypto among the top 10 projects, rallying by 3.1% in the last 24 hours. Some attributed the latest rally to an update coming to the XRP Ledger. The upgrade will integrate an automated market maker and a clawback feature. However, online rumors about BlackRock shifting its focus from Bitcoin (BTC) to XRP, may have also played a hand. XRP-focused X handle, “JackTheRippler,” posted that BlackRock may be reconsidering its stance on Bitcoin (BTC). He added that the world’s largest asset manager might be “eyeing alternatives like XRP.” 🚨RUMORS: Big Financial Giants like “BlackRock” may be reconsidering their stance on #Bitcoin and may be eyeing alternatives like #XRP! 👀🔥 pic.twitter.com/88HgHmXj5v — JackTheRippler ©️ (@RippleXrpie) September 14, 2023 A similar post was shared by “WallStreetBulls,” who questioned if we are “witnessing a shift...

Image
Lending Voice to XRP Holders  Amidst the heat of the lawsuit, the crypto lawyer came up with a list of 75,000 XRP holders around the globe who lent their voices to the lawsuit. Deaton was the top voice for these people who submitted multiple affidavits supporting Ripple Lab’s defense. At a point in the legal battle, Ripple submitted 3,000 affidavits from XRP holders and Judge Analisa Torres cited the documents while ruling on the programmatic sales of XRP on digital exchanges. advertisement Once again, our work shows up in the briefing – as it did in Judge Torres’ decision. XRP price searches for a fresh bullish catalyst to trigger a move above $1

Image
XRP price rallied in excess of 100% after Ripple’s victory last week, but do fundamentals support a move to $1 and beyond? XRP (XRP) price booked an incredible 100% gain on the same day as the landmark ruling in the XRP securities case, but buyers are now struggling to hold on to these gains.  The price surge came after judge Analisa Torres of District Court of the Southern District of New York ordered that XRP sale to retail investors does not qualify the token as a security in the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) case against Ripple. While the trading interest in XRP is reviving, the technical and network usage data hint at a short-term pullback. Traders flock to XRP but network growth stalls According to Coinglass data, the open interest volume for XRP futures contracts, which represents the total value of open bets for the asset, surged to its highest point since November 2021, reaching $1.19 billion on July 20. Price analysis 7/17: SPX, DXY, BTC, ETH, XRP, BNB, SOL, ADA, DOGE, MATIC

Bitcoin bulls have failed to step in, increasing the chance for a retest of the $29,500 support. Bitcoin (BTC) remains stuck inside a narrow range, making it difficult to predict the direction of the next possible breakout. The United States dollar index (DXY), which generally moves in inverse correlation to Bitcoin, dropped below 100 but that has failed to propel Bitcoin higher. This suggests that Bitcoin is charting its own course in the near term. Therefore, the earnings season from big companies this week may sway the U.S. equities markets but may not have the same effect on Bitcoin. It is becoming increasingly difficult to pinpoint the event or the news flow that will cause Bitcoin’s price to escape the range. Daily cryptocurrency market performance. Bitcoin market dominance briefly dipped below 50% as altcoins deemed securities by the SEC notched double-digit gains. Image
The XRP Growth Highlight According to the Messari data, XRP ’s circulating market cap jumped by 42.5% Year-to-Date (YTD), a growth that was achieved following the upsurge in the price of the asset in the first quarter. Despite this substantial growth, the market cap decreased 10.7% Quarter on Quarter (QoQ) from $27.8 billion to $24.8 billion in Q2. advertisement While the XRP network saw a slowdown in its transaction volume QoQ, the average daily NFT transactions increased 12.7% QoQ from 13,800 to 15,500. This trend has, however, started changing. Another major highlight revealed by the Messari data is the expansion of the XRPL sidechains. Two prominent protocols including Coreum and Root Network were recently launched. These protocols are ver...
